Discover the exhibition in the entrance building of the German war cemetery in Niederbronn-les-Bains.
In addition to seven biographies of participants in the war, a multimedia display in both rooms provides information about the course of the war in eastern France and explains the history of the German military cemetery, where almost 15,800 fallen soldiers from the Second World War rest.
The inauguration ceremony took place on June 25, 2022, in the presence of former Federal Minister Theo Waigel, whose brother found his final resting place at the military cemetery.
The previous exhibition "Kriegsschicksale - Destins de guerre" can still be viewed at the Niederbronn Youth Meeting and Education Center (JBS).
The exhibitions can be seen Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 2 pm (at weekends by appointment).
